You undertake that all goods so purchased by you, are for your own private and domestic use only, unless otherwise agreed, and you accept email as a valid means of communication of any agreement between you and RedDot Books Ltd.

Processing of orders
RedDot Books Ltd aim to ship all in stock items within 48* hours of receiving your order. In rare instances books may be unavailable from our warehouse. We regret we are not able to supply dates when our suppliers may get an item in stock. We will keep you updated by E-mail as to the status of your order (unless you ask us not to). Please note that your order may be sent to you in installments.
Shipments to your delivery address maybe subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges to clear customs must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country so we advise that customers contact their local customs office for further information. Note that international shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

It enables people to purchase products online using 128-bit encrypted sessions with the knowledge that their credit card details will be safe and secure. Protx has been audited and approved by APACS, Visa and MasterCard and is an approved payment service provider for Lloyds TSB Cardnet services. Protx accepts Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Solo, American Express and Switch.
When you make an order your credit card details will be encrypted and sent securely using SSL - the Internet standard for secure transfers. We use an online payment service provider who receives transaction details directly over a 128- bit encrypted secure channel, exchanging digitally signed messages to register the transaction and notify you directly of the authorisation results. No sensitive information is sent via your browser, and because customers are directly transferred to our online payment service provider, no card details are taken or stored on this site.

You can make payment by UK Cheque or British Postal Order made payable to: RedDot Books Ltd. Plese note that payments made in this manner will need to be cleared before you goods will ship. In the event that any form of the above payment shall bounce (not have the funds available to clear) we will add the current fee charged by our bank plus a £10.00 GBP administration fee.

Contract for the Supply of Goods

No contract for the supply of goods will be deemed to exist between you and RedDot Books Ltd unless, and until, an email is sent by RedDot Books Ltd to you confirming that your order has been shipped. RedDot Books Ltd are free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods, any description applied to the goods, the availability of the goods or the order itself.

Liability
Under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, Supplier shall not be liable to Customer by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law (including delict), or under the express terms of the Contract, for loss of profit or for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever ( whether caused by the negligence of Supplier, its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Goods (including any delay in supplying or any failure to supply the Goods in accordance with the Contract or at all) or their use by Customer, and the entire liability of Supplier under or in connection with the Contract shall not exceed the Price of the Goods, except as expressly provided otherwise in these Conditions. Nothing in these Conditions shall limit the statutory rights of Customer where the Contract is entered into as a consumer transaction (as defined in the Consumer Transaction (Restrictions on Statements) Order 1976 (as amended).

Force Majeure
Supplier shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to fulfil any reason of any delay in delivery of the Goods or any part thereof caused directly or indirectly by any of act of God, war, government or parliamentary restriction, import or export regulation, strike, lockout, trade dispute, fire, theft, flooding, breakdown of plant or premises, late or non-delivery of any supplies or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of Supplier.

Illegal Acts
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order . Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic fingerprints of every order placed on RedDot Books Ltd to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.

Governing Law
Purchases from RedDot Books Ltd are subject to the laws of England and Wales.

Modification of Terms
RedDot Books Ltd reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the RedDot Books Ltd site.
