Featuring an introduction by curator Jane Alison, an essay that explores the place of colour in the work of Yves Klein by art historian Nuit Banai, and profiles of each of the contributing artists, this book provides a new perspective on key works of Modern and contemporary art. Also included in the book are artists' writings on the subject of colour, with pieces by Klein, Judd and Hélio Oiticica.
